Sky view of Visited Landmarks

Every time on the plane, either eastbound or westbound, I always
tried to look for those landmarks or landscape I have visited on the
ground. I even tried to trace the routes ( highways ) I had traveled
through.

Last month, when the plane took off for Baltimore from Las Vegas,
where the plane made a stop after San Francisco, I had the
opportunity to have a nice sky view of Colorado River and Lake
Powell. I tried to recapture the boat-tour route to Rainbow Bridge
from Glen Canyon Dam we had last year. Although I could only add
my imagination to it to compose the entire picture together, it was
a nice different feeling to appreciate the nature scene.

On our way back to San Francisco later, the plane flew over Salt
Lake,which was anther different view of it. In the summer of 1978,
when we moved to the west coast from Bufalo, State of New York,
we passed through Salt Lake. we stopped there and let our children,
aged 5 and 2 at that time, play the white sand. Those old pictures
taken there are still in our family album.

The sky view this time was again a distinct experience.
