Sarcastic poems are cynical and can be offensive, but can also be
humorous as well.

Such as :

When your life is in darkness, pray to God
ask him to free you from darkness
and if after you pray,
you're still in darkness,
please pay your ELECTRICITY BILL!

In fact it is a little sad -

Eating now, then eating later


杜牧, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, was not very fond of the
society in his time and often wrote some sarcastic poems such as
this one:

泊秦淮

煙籠寒水月籠沙　夜泊秦淮近酒家。
商女不知亡國恨　隔江猶唱《後庭花》。

In my junior high school, I had a teacher by the name
Ho Jing Ju, who was a Bei Ta student, later graduated from
Shih Ta and became a teacher. He taught us geography. He
hated pop music, which he called "mee mee je ying", and
liked to criticize the society. He often spent almost half
of his lecture time in criticizing this and that. One day,
he modified the 杜牧 poem and read loud to us :

煙籠寒水月籠沙　夜泊淡水進酒家。
舞女不知亡國恨　隔江猶唱《跳Cha Cha》。
