《看見台灣》

I have come across the name 齊柏林 and his "高空攝影" works many times in the past.

I became so impressed by him when I was watching his talks and video presentations at "TEDxTaipei" a few months ago. I was impressed by not only his outstanding professional works, but also his humble, casual and devoted characters. I have since followed his works periodically through the internet webs.

《看見台灣》, or 《換個高度，守護美麗台灣》, is his another "空拍電影" he produced in collaboration with 天下雜誌. It is scheduled to be “壯闊呈現” in November 2013.

In its “前導預告”, 齊柏林 says:

"《看見台灣》是我二十多年空中攝影生涯的第一部樂章。

這些年來，我深深地被台灣的美麗大地所震撼、感動，同時，也對台灣地貌的轉變而感到憂心與不捨，我看見的，也很想讓您看見。

在這趟「飛行旅程」中，您將看見台灣，我們的家，有點熟悉卻又陌生。每天生活在其中的我們，理應與「她」最親近才是，但您將發現，透過飛行鳥瞰的方式，台灣所展現出來的千姿百態，全都是您前所未見，值得您反覆思量。她的美麗，她的傷痕，在我的鏡頭下將壯闊的呈現給您。"

徐霞客, a known Chinese travel writer and geographer of the Ming Dynasty, had traveled throughout China and documented his travels extensively.

After having 登臨黃山 twice and been overwhelmed by its majestic scenery and mythical landscape, he said: "登黃山, 天下無山, 觀止矣!"

It has also been said:"五嶽歸來不看山，黃山歸來不看嶽."

In 1990, the Yellow Mountains,黃山, were added to the list of World Natural Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

The other day, in order for me to do some more " 臥遊", my NTUMC classmate DJL forwarded to me another documentary television series entitled "世界遗产在中国". "黃山" is one of them.

黃山 is one of those unique places that I have always dreamed of visiting. Viewing this outstanding, detailed documentary video has already fulfilled my dream.
