滾滾長江

幾度夕陽紅 明 楊慎

滾滾長江東逝水。
浪花淘盡英雄。
是非成敗轉頭空。
青山依舊在。幾度夕陽紅
白髮漁樵江渚上。慣看秋月春風。
一壺濁酒喜相逢。
古今多少事。
都付笑談中。

"幾度夕陽紅" is a a most powerful poem ever made in the Chinese
poetry history. It gives you a grandeur feeling. It was written by
楊慎 in the Ming Dynasty. When 羅貫中 wrote his classical novel
“Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, he used this poem as 闕詞 for
his book. In this poem, "滾滾長江" is the most famous and powerful
phrase.

Besides〈三國演義〉〈西江月), "滾滾長江" had also appeared to be
utilized in other poems by renowned poets :

風急天高猿嘯哀，渚清沙白鳥飛回。
無邊落木蕭蕭下，不盡長江滾滾來。
