I Love Nature Scenes

I love nature scenes

   浣溪沙 晏殊(991-1055),北宋詞人

一曲新詞酒一杯
去年天氣舊亭台
夕陽西下幾時回

無可奈何花落去
似曾相識燕歸來
小園香徑獨徘徊

Yesterday, the second day of the new year, and the first
working day of the year, I went back to see what I had
written on this day in my classmate web site. I found out
I was doing the same thing with the smae feeling while
walking on the soft lawn to my car. The scene was exactly
the same as it was last year. The scene reminded me of
"去年天氣舊亭台".

The following is what I had written on January 3rd,
last year in NTUMC68 class website:

" While expecting a major rain storm soon in our area,
yesterday, the second day of the New Year and first working
day this year, after my regular usual day work, I walked
to my car in the parking lot, which is about 200 yards from
the building. Instead of going through the paved path which
I usually did, I chose this time to walk over the lawn and
watch the beautiful sunset through the palm trees. The ground
is soft and gentle, and is covered with freshly growing young
grass. It was not so cold. It was so relaxing.

The feeling of walking on this open field was "phenomenal"!
I saw the new life on the field ground was already there.
And I expect this beautiful open field will be even more
charming after the supposed to be total of 5 inches rain for
the next few days followed by another period of warm sunshine.

I love beautiful scenes, the nature scenes.

  1. I had similar feeling when I started college in US years ago. I arrived at campus very early. There were practically nobody and I liked to walk on the grass when morning dew still hang on them. The first light of the day barely came on, and birds chirped. It always gave me a very good start of the day.
