Napa Valley Vineyards in Mustard Season
It's that time of year again.
Yesterday morning, on the way home passing through those
picturesque rolling green hills between Sonoma and Napa, I saw
rows and rows of dormant grapevines surrounded by the delicate
brilliant yellow mustard flowers. Spring is around the corner!
It's that time of year again. It was a relaxing and pleasant drive,
particularly at this time of the year.

Late January through March is mustard season in the Napa Valley. Mustard fields are fairly common in all of California but among the vineyards they are particularly stunning. Its vibrant yellow color set against a grey winter sky brings a magical beauty to the dormant Napa Valley vineyards.
It is another good reason to visit the wine country during this time of the year.
