"Political" 聯
A few years ago. I sent a couple of "political" 聯 to a Chinese
Newspaper in the US :
"聯想"
1). 胡言扁語
正國名，趕公投，看河水扁扁，陳水扁潦落去！
反分裂，忙立法，聽海浪濤濤，胡錦濤潑過來。
2). 維持現狀
台灣人，百年思索，想獨立；
中國人，千年長歎，要統一。
PS
陳水扁 Former Taiwanese president.
胡錦濤 Current PRC president.
Books〔百年思索〕龍應台著
and 〔千年長歎〕余秋雨書
(Both 龍應台 and 余秋雨 had nothing to do with this 聯.)
