State of Mind

Wang Guo Wei (王國維), a scholar, writer and poet, once stated that, before accomplishing a great task, you need to undergo and endure three "state of mind", which are:
  • 第一境界:昨夜西風凋碧樹,獨上高樓,望盡天涯路。(引自晏殊的《蝶戀花》)
  • 第二境界:衣帶漸寬終不悔,為伊消得人憔悴。(引自柳永的《蝶戀花》)
  • 第三境界:眾里尋他千百度,驀然回首,那人卻在燈火闌珊處。(引自辛棄疾的《青玉案·元夕》)
