楚襄王遊于蘭台之宮，宋玉、景差侍。有風颯然而至，王乃披襟而當之，
曰：“ 快哉此風！……”

Awesome things happen to all of us throughout our lives. They make
us smile and we feel “不亦快哉”.

These things are happening every day all around us. Somewhere
someone is smiling or inspired because of these awesome moments in
life.

金聖嘆, a Chinese editor, writer and critic in the 明末清初, wrote
三十三則 “不亦快哉”。Among them,  其廿四："久客得歸，望見郭門，
兩岸童婦，皆作故鄉之聲。不亦快哉！"

At a later time, writers such as 林語堂、梁實秋 and even the modern-day
李敖 had also written their own favorite “不亦快哉” accounts sharing
their life experiences and awesome feelings.




“The Book of Awesome”, written by Neil Pasricha, presents simple
pleasures for a younger, hipper generation and reminds them of little
things that make us smile every day.

Entries include:

• Popping Bubble Wrap
• Wearing underwear just out of the dryer
• Fixing electronics by smacking them
• Getting called up to the dinner buffet first at a wedding
• Watching The Price Is Right when you're home sick
• Hitting a bunch of green lights in a row
• Waking up and realizing it's Saturday

In this book we find numerous awesome reminders of simple pleasures
we take for granted.


On this lovely autumn Saturday morning, after taking a gentle hike on
the neighborhood hill park, with a cup of coffee from “Starbucks” and
a couple of donuts from “Safeway” on my desk, I relaxingly sit on my
comfortable chair editing the writings that I have just posted on my blog,
“ The Yehtze File”.
