The Lighthouse Of Pigeon Point

The Lighthouse Of Pigeon Point

Above the waves that break in foam on loam,
Over the shore's perpetual smile,
The lighthouse must forever stand alone.

Where birds have flown and all the flowers have blown,
There, his light bids us to bide awhile,
For only light for darkness can atone.

Although his bell tolls with a subtle tone
Across the coast for mile after mile,
The lighthouse must forever stand alone.

Carrier Pigeon

Santa Cruz

The Lighthouse Of Pigeon Point
