走在台灣的脊樑上【第 17 集】豐腴美麗的地方—拉拉山森林步道  (YouTube video)





The other day, knowing the fact that absolute bed rest was no longer needed for me, my NTUMC1968 classmate WH forwarded me another documentary television series entitled “走在台灣的脊樑上” so that I was able to continue enjoying my "臥以遊之". I really appreciate her kindness and consideration.

The TV series not only show the Taiwan's 好山好水, more importantly, it encourage people to leave their everyday lives behind once in a while and come to experience the extraordinary adventures on those magnificent mountain hiking trails along the Taiwan's "roof ridge".

I was amazed by the continuing efforts of the Taiwan authority to provide such a great opportunity over the years for the ordinary citizens to go into the nature enjoying their leisure time.

While I was doing "臥以遊之", I found, among those, a few 森林步道s that I would very much like to pay a visit the next time we are back to Taiwan. 拉拉山 is one of them.

"臥以遊之" is, however, more like "望梅止渴", strolling along those 步道s in person would ultimately give the real satisfaction. For now I can only be anticipating ........ .
