Lao Tze (老子), or “Old Master” in English, was one of the most
famous Chinese philosophers. In his "Tao Te Ching" (道德經), he said:
Tao (道, "the Way") does not change and it is the universal truth.
「道可道,非常道,名可名,非常名。」

Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life - CD Wayne Dyer

The book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life" written by
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer is about "Living the Wisdom of the Tao (道)".

He has reviewed hundreds of translations of the Tao Te Ching and
has written 81 distinct essays on how to apply the ancient wisdom
of Lao-tze to today’s modern world. This work contains the entire
81 verses of the Tao. Each chapter is designed for actually living the
Tao or the Great Way today.

Some of the chapter titles are “Living with Flexibility,” "Living in
Obscurity,” and “Living by Letting Go.” Each of the 81 brief
chapters focuses on living the Tao and concludes with a section
called “Doing the Tao Now.”

"Living in Obscurity":

"Should you want to contain something,
you must deliberately let it expand.

Should you want to weaken something,
you must deliberately let it grow strong.

Should you want to eliminate something,
you must deliberately allow it to flourish.

Should you want to take something away,
you must deliberately grant it access.

The gentle outlasts the strong,
and the obscure outlasts the obvious."

I have applied this principle to my gardening, and there is always
peace and harmony in my garden.
