那年春天

十年前
醫學院同學
D J Lee
寫了一首英文詩
“A Spring Day”

回憶
Those good old days
on the Taida main campus

A Spring's Day

I wish to fly with a magic wand,
Going back half a century and beyond。
It was a Spring's day on the campus main corridor,
Green grass and red azaleas glowed in splendor。

Tall palm trees swayed gently with pride,
And birds flew high in the blue sky.
Flowers were blooming by the gate of Fu Garden.
It was the nearest place to Eden。

I stood still, drowning in oceans of joy,
And yet I had to leave, like any other boy,
For my destiny. As time marched with cruelty,
I matured but lost innocence and clarity。

I will always remember that Spring's day,
It is a pity that I could not stay。

那年春天

我渴望有支摩杖,
飛回半世紀前, 或許更早。
那是個校園大道的春天,
綠草如茵, 杜鵑花盛開。

兩旁高聳的棕櫚, 隨風招展自豪,
鳥兒們, 在藍天遨翔;
傅園門外, 百花齊放,
好似個伊甸園。

我在此停步逗留,
沈醉於無比的喜悅。
然而, 就如其他的伙伴,
我不得不離開,去我的目的地。
經歴一段殘酷的事實,
我成熟了, 但卻不再天真,
也失去一顆明確的心。

我會永遠緬懷那年春天,
可惜, 我無法在那裡長留。
