Chopping Board

Our classmates, the modern poets, had worked together,

trying to chop the "清明" poem by 杜牧.

The followings are the chopping process and the end result.

D.J. Lee has recorded the entire process and sequence as follow:

He said:

" Ying-Ming Lee first placed a poem on the chopping board."

And he did the first chop.

清明雨紛紛 行人欲斷魂

酒家何處有 遙指杏花村

"Obliged to assist his endeavor, I did my share."

清明時雨 行人斷魂

酒家何處 指杏花村

And finally Wei Hsueh did her job.

清明雨  人斷魂

 問酒家  杏花村

"At this point, I shall ask Lord for mercy."

D.J. Lee said.

Then, trying to do the final cut, Yeh Tze said:

"Wait for a moment, here is the real final ending."

清明 斷魂

酒家 花村

D.J. Lee obviously approved it and said:

"Yes Sir, you did the final cut."
