Our NTUMC class graduated in 1968. Many of the classmates left
"畢業感言" in the Graduation Yearbook. Knowing what they are doing
now, I find it rather interesting to see what they had said then.
He has devoted his life to 慈濟醫療志業.
DSC described his graduation as “醒來, 已是離去時” and stated
“ Gutta Cavat Lapidem!” ( Lartin proverb by Ovid, Epistles for
"Constant dripping wears the stone.”) He has spent all his time in
the medical research work after graduation and has received
numerous awards for outstanding achievements and contributions.
He served as the Dean of NTUMC some thirty years later - after
graduation from there.
He loves 台大 so much that he has
stayed at NTUMC as a teaching and research faculty member.
He has continued to pursue and enjoy
his interests, and became a renowned scientist /virologist.
YML was a typical medical student. He depicted his college dorm life
Some other 畢業感言s were plain and brief :
"The latent period is over !"
................ .
and even as simple as :
"0000000".
I can smile at the old days.
Life was beautiful then.

A reply from classmate CLL:
ReplyDelete"Life is interesting, isn't it? especially when looking back!"
Life is actually beautiful when you know how to apply your wisdom and talent. Life is good when you just follow the harmony ... share the love within you and the rest will go flawlessly.
